We ask a nominal 5% fee of the final sale price of your guitar ONLY! if you sell it through a contact developed from our site. We use Caldiatech for our web development they are a first class development company and they are not free.
We will not charge you anything to advertise your guitar. We will not charge you to blast the search engines. A fee is due only IF a sale is made. I feel this is a nominal fee to pay for the time I will spend, development costs and effort put into this site. I feel this will provide you an excellent way for you to reach interested buyers and sellers and a way to get to now other EVH guitar freaks like us! (there are many believe me)
Buyers and seller are responsible for working out who pays for shipping. I
HIGHLY suggest using UPS as they have better insurance coverage.
I am not going to police these sales. The interested party will contact you via email and I will have nothing to do with what happens after that nor am I responsible for any misrepresentation of the guitar on your part. Please include ALL scratches, dings, dents, saliva dribbles, etc so people know exactly what they are buying. Be honest about what you are selling. People buy guitars with dings that is not a problem. YOU are responsible to mail me a check for 5% of the sale price made payable to Barry Menary. This is an honor business transaction. Your Guitar photo will remain on our site with the word SOLD! To keep a visual history of what have done!
Now If you don't pay me I will be forced to cast a life long spell on you that will make it impossible for you ever again to do a clean pull-off hammer on. Your brain will short circuit in-between the pull off and hammer on and you will completely forget what you are doing. You will stop playing and just stand there looking confused. This does not impress women! These spells have been known to last for years and there is no reversal of the spell once I cast it upon you So just send the money, I had to cast one on Lenny Kravitz once, we all know how cool he is but have you ever heard him do a pull off hammer on?, I don't think you have… you don't want that to happen to you, it's ugly… And in addition if you completely piss me off, I have another spell that makes it so whenever you change the high E string it will snap just when you finish winding it around the tuning peg. It will happen every time and you will go mad out of your mind…I could also do a combination of both of them. So just be a good person and do the right thing.
About the 5% fee. I thought quite a bit about this and I realized that if I am going to spend money to develop and maintain a web site, sent out e-mailings, basically help buyers and sellers connect, I should get something for my time. Why should I do it for free, you know?, would you do it for free?. The web development and upkeep cost me money.
I am in the headhunting business and I am very experienced in putting people together and using creative ways to get our name out. So I feel confident our site will be successful!
